Thank God for extremely good exam results

All glory be unto God! Today, I just checked my Grade 5 Theory exams online. To my surprise, I got the full marks 100 for my Theory exams. I couldn't believe it! Why do I say that?
The song composing part in the Grade 5 Theory Exam is quite subjective; just like Art. It is quite impossible to obtain a full mark at that section. I only pray for distinction but the Lord granted me exceedingly more than what I have asked for! My heart is overjoyed and I can't wait to share the good news with everyone. The Lord never fall short in His blessing for me. Even though, on Monday I received a bad news that my father may be contracted cancer or infection of the nose, the Lord gives me the peace in my heart. I was reminded not to worry about the things that has not yet happened. Pray that in 2 weeks time, the results out will be favourable.

Thank God for 6 students going to my church today!

Thank God! Today God allow me to break my record! I brought 6 of my students to church today. It is truly God's glory! I pray that those students who have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ will quickly come to His feet. He is coming very quickly and soon to judge the sinful world. Haha, one student is camera shy. That's is why you can't see her.

Thank God for completed entries for competitions

Finally, the students have completed their work! Thank God especially for the School Video Award(SVA) competition; there is a video expert who came to my school to help the students to complete it. Some students find it a drag to come for the sessions that I had with them while some students enjoyed it. Never the least, I think most of them enjoyed the filming process. The most tedious time is to do the storyboard for the video and also the video filming process. I have to keep on reminding my students to complete it quickly and not to waste precious time. It is sad that I make a student angry during one of the sessions. I was not intentional and I regretted it a lot. I have already apologised to her. I hope that she is not angry with me now. Thank God that through this competition, I am able to interact with the students and also being able to know them a bit better. I also want to thank God for giving me committed students who are willing to sacrifice their holiday to completed both Animania and SVA Competition. I hope that I will have the opportunity to witness to them and tell them more about Christ. There will be a gospel meeting in my church on 17th Dec, Christmas Service on 24th Dec and Christmas Gospel Chalet at the Changi Chalet on 26th Dec. I pray that the Lord will by all means save some souls into His kingdom! Halleluia (Praise the Lord)!

God's Blessings in 2005

As I pondered upon what the Lord had blessed me with in 2005, I want to echo this verse that I found:
Genesis 49:25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
Truly the Lord will not withhold His blessing from us! Below is the record of blessings that I can think of, that the Lord had blessed me with last year:
:: Thank God for ::
1. being one of the 3 leaders in Shomerim in 2005 (although I am not a good leader and was not willing at the beginning, God still used me).
2. being more caring towards others because I was a leader.
3. constantly reminding me of my sins in His Word and teaching from God's servants as I had to lead by example.
4. being able to encourage a brother, using God's Word, who was feeling down and wanted to depart from the faith.
5. a good, less stressful job with lots of free time.
6. having time to learn the piano, attend Prayer Meetings, Christian fellowship and Bible studies because of my not-so-stressful job.
7. service to the Lord as a pianist at the Prayer Meetings (despite the fact that I am not good enough and still need a lot of practice).
8. distinction in my grade 5 piano exam and for having a good piano teacher.
9. brethren and my grandmother who lent me money to buy the new piano.
10. an anonymous person who sponsored half of my fees for the night class at the second half of the year.
11. faith being strengthened as I attended the 2 Monday night classes.
12. being able to complete the FEBC night class reading assignment of the NT in the second semester. In doing that, I understand the NT more and was blessed through the long duration of readings.
13. opportunity to share God's Word in the Youth Camp and Shomerim special gathering (God spoke to me as I was preparing the exhortations).
14. more opportunities to serve God, whether it be music or Church-related ministry, and for the talents that the Lord has given me.
15. the conviction of not listening to the Chinese pop song channels; in doing that, my mind became more focused on Christian and Classical Music.
16. somehow being able to complete the reading of the whole Bible in 3 years (hopefully I did not accidentally miss a chapter because sometimes I forgot where I had stopped).
17. keeping my faith as I see brethren leaving the Church; I felt sad for them. Pray that the Lord will bring them back one day.
