1 month of joy

Thank God for answered prayers. I can feel God is leading me slowly. Lord continue to help me keep close to you and forsake my besetting sin. This 1 month was filled with excitement, joy and laughter even in the midst of hectic assignments in NIE. Thank God for this sweet experience.

Thank God for healing and pray for recovery

Thank God that my friend's fever had subsided. However, my mum's right arm seemed badly bruised after the fall. Pray that she can heal soon. Thank God also that my dad's hospital subsidy was approved, hence the medical bill was reduced significantly.

God leads us along

Thank God for church 30th Anniversary

Today thank God for many opportunities to serve Him in the music ministry. The amazing thing is that I did not cough during those item presentations but was coughing throughout the whole service. God answered my prayer! What I felt most joyful was not that I am able to serve in the music ministry but that God moves the heart of someone who do not attend church regularly to come for today's church anniversary. I prayed that the word of God today will remind her of God's goodness and spurs her on to be regular in church worship.

Thanksgiving for 2016

I should have posted this earlier but I have forgotten.

Thanks to God:
1. For preserving my salvation and sustaining me in the faith even though I am weak.
2. That I can get into NIE after 10 years in the education industry.
3. For pay increment even though I am prepared to get a pay cut because I am untrained.
4. From Jul to Nov can teach in a school that is very near to me.
5. Mum fell in Korea but it is not very serious and is recovering well
6. Pass my 1st violin grading exam and Grade 6 music theory exam.
7. Thank God for increase in numbers in Choir ministry and last year actually I was a little discouraged but God is good. Preacher Clement comes in to give exhortation, and subsequently Preacher James, Preacher Yahui and ShuaiYong and also give the exhortation before every Choir session begins. Thank God for their preaching.
8. Financially can still managed my dad's dialysis treatment together with my sister and that there is still some insurance cover
9. Can go to CHINA and see God's creation
10. Can still go to Ipoh at a short notice.

The Lord is good

It was 11 months since my last post, I should have thank the Lord earlier. In July, I was posted to a school that is only a road junction away from my home. God heard my prayer and I was posted to a school that is so near to my home! In August, I pass my Grade 5 violin exam. It is my 1st violin exam and I want to thank God for giving me a good and patient teacher. In November, I received 2 good news. Not only I had passed my Grade 6 theory exam with Merit, I was giving a place in NIE. 

A peasant surprise for my GEO appointment briefing today

My 1st thought was to give thanks to God! What a pleasant surprise! I thought my salary might be lower compared to my current AED job, as I am untrained. Neither would I thought that there would be a huge jump. As I received the appointed letter, I see God's favour upon me! All glory, honour and praise be unto Him again!

1st Thanksgiving for 2016

I thank God that I am reminded to give thanks. I had been slacked these few years. I shall start off with the 1st thanksgiving for the year. Thank God for answering my prayer for granting me admission to MOE to be a Music Teacher. It is somehow like a dream come true. 

My childhood dream is to be an architect but as I grew up my dream job change. At first, I thought i would be in the IT line, therefore I studied Multimedia Computing. However when I started to have a feel of how it is like to be a software engineer, I detested it! Neither did I realise that what I had studied got me into the job of being a Multimedia Educator much later! That job lasted for four years plus, then I slowly realised that I began to love teaching. After three failed attempts in applying to be a teacher, I realise that I need a degree and the necessity to upgrade myself. For five years of studies, I finally graduated with a bachelor by God's grace.

The thought of being a teacher never left me. I decided to apply for teaching in August 2015. To my surprise, there is an option to be a Music teacher! Being someone who loves Music deeply, I would love to teach my passion. After months of praying and waiting finally I received the letter on 11th January 2016! I am accepted by MOE! All praise and glory be to God above! I don't know about tomorrow, but I know who holds tomorrow, who hold my hands! God please help me to be a godly teacher.

Thanksgiving for 2015(Better to be late than never)

2015 Thanksgiving

-Thank God for health and protection. Feel my body is a little weak compared to previous year

-Thank God for grace, wisdom and strength to help me in my school

-Thank God for good colleagues in school and a Christian elder sister in my school 

-Thank God for pay increment in Oct as not many people get the increment 

-Thank God for helping to clear my last Semester of my studies, where I thought that I will not be able to make it for the last semester and might have to repeat a module. 

-Thank God that I can clear it and managed to graduate in Oct only by God's grace

-Thank God for keeping my parents safe and there is no major illness happening to them

-Thank God for granting me time to learn the violin even with the midst of studying and work. I hope to use it to glorify him in the future.

-Thank God for sending brethren along this year to help me along the way, be it sending me home or sending caring message and praying for me this year

-Thank God even yesterday for preserving me from further injury due to my sprain thumb, and effective acupuncture yesterday that I had received from the tcm.

01-Thank God for keeping me in the faith, especially when I often fail Him

02-I have more blessings than unhappy events.

04-Thank God for a caring parents who never fail to cook delicious meal for me.

05-Thank God for keeping me safe in and out of SG

06-Thank God for being able to serve Him in the music ministry even though it is tough sometimes 

07-Thank God for giving wisdom, strength and perseverance in my studies in Uni.

08-Thank God for giving me patience and wisdom in dealing with kids in school 

09-Thank God for positive attitude in work and not feeling so stressed up till the point I detest the job. In fact, I love my job.

10-Thank God for sending Christian friends this year, be it at work place or church, where I can share my problems with and that they could pray for me.

11-Thank God for brothers and sisters in Christ whom I often can hitch a ride from them

12-Thank God for the complete healing of my left knee after an accident
